Take a full year of chem or bio 2oa3/30b3 for dentistry/dental school prerequisites.
I was wondering if it was better to take a full year of kinesiology (kin 1y03 and 1yy3) or animal physiology bio and cell biology (bio 2oa3, bio 20b3) for the prerequisite for dental school which requires a full year or two half year courses of animal physiology.
The specific school I am looking at is u of t dental program and they state that:
this course should cover the following systems: musculoskeletal system, haemostasis mechanisms, haematopoietic system, nervous sytem, immuny system, cardiovascular system, renal physiology, neurophysiology, endocrinology, and gastrointestinal physiology.
Does anyone knwo of any other courses that could fill this category?
Thanks

Actually I have been told that non of those courses you listed are accepted as a full year of physiology and that the only 2 physiology courses (full year) is actually Biology 3U03 and 3UU3
Plus Biology 2B03 is cell biology and def will not be accepted as physiology course.
Kin 1Y03/1YY3 is ANATOMY not PHYSIOLOGY HUGE ASS DIFFERENCE.

These two courses ARE animal physiology. This is exactly what dentistry requires.

Kin 1Y03/1YY3 is actually both Anatomy and Physiology. But you're right, it doesn't cover all of these systems.

Yeah, that makes sense. But I am a little confused about the wording of the prerequisites. Is the six unites of Kin required in ADDITION to the bio 2a03, or is it either or?

yeah you are right, but its just an introduction and for sure no university will accept it. The only two full on physiology courses that are accepted are bio 3u03 and 3uu3.

You could just do Bio 2A03 as the preq OR take ALL of Kin 1Y03, 1YY3 AND Bio 1A03.
