I'm so scare to drink fountain water ever since I saw/heard people sneezing in the fountain or wiping their dirty hands on the faucet.

Ugh.

Nasty.

Yum. You know they sell glass bottles of orange juice at La Piazza, right? (not sure how good it is compared to Simply Orange though)

I only drink water in a personal metal container if I'm going to work out. Otherwise, I'm not going to bother carrying it everywhere. It's way too heavy. But I WILL say that I drink my coffee/tea out of a personal coffee termos/carry cup thing. Since I drink tea every morning, that's a good cause.

I don't like drinking bottled water, I think it should be free anyway.... but to me Hamilton Tap Water taste absolutely horrible. I love the water in Toronto though it tastes clean and I don't have the need for bottled water but here because of that horrid taste i do.

Maybe you can offset your plastic guilt by informing others that they should go plastic-free.

They also have these new re-useable water bottle bags called Vapur that hold 500 mL and roll up really small and compact when its empty

1. It costs resource (oil, etc) to make and recycle plastic.. this resource expense is unnecessary considering water is abundant in first world countries
2. Not all plastic is recyclable.
3. The issue is tackling the 'use and throw away' paradigmn that is so easily lived by.
4. Not all people recycle water bottles
5. Plastic leaching into water can cause illness
6. Water from water bottles can be of lesser quality than tap
