Textbook for Commerce 4SD3
I'm looking to borrow the textbook for Commerce 4SD3, Commercial Law. It is The Law and Business Administration in Canada, 11th Edition by Smyth and Soberman.

This is Titles' page http://titles.mcmaster.ca/text/detai...780 132042758

If you happen to have taken this course in the past and could lend it to me for the summer (until August) I'd appreciate it.

There's a LOT of reading to be done, about 200 pages just for the first midterm. The content IS interesting though, and if you enjoy law and learning about the machinery of law you will like it.

In terms of topics covered it looks at Tort Law and contract law and then you delve deeper into contracts and commercial/business operations.

If you like law and you have at least some previous exposure to a law course you'll have no problem. If you haven't taken a law course you'll just have to become acquainted with some of the jargon, that would be the biggest obstacle in my opinion.

Mr. Stillman is a great instructor and I enjoy his teaching style. Mind you it's about an hour of him talking and you writing at a time. He does answer questions but you have to be able to put your hand up and write at the same time.

It's a Term 3 course in the summer unfortunately. Or rather fortunately since there is A LOT of stuff to cover so you have a week between lectures.
