Yeah that kind of blew and you'd be tired sometimes during the movie which is only exacerbated by a boring flick but try and go to the earlier showing if possible. You may be assigned it but if you're not try and go and see if there are seats, you only can't stay for it if there aren't enough seats for everyone already signed to the earlier showing.
Sometimes its not so bad though b/c at least you're getting a break and watching a film. Sometimes its what you need as a break from everything else going on in first year.

I had Dumont in my first year. I really enjoyed him. Friendly guy, knows his stuff, good demonstrations. I preferred him to the other first year prof (Barbier).

Dumont was alright, kind of a 'nap time' class though

Haha, I guess I won't try and switch into another chem then...'cause I'm pretty sure it'll be impossible. I heard Lock was the best one to have, though!

For sure, I have no doubt about it. I personally will be contributing to it.

Hey guys, just a question..
So I got my timetable and there are a few things i want to change around. So to make these scheduling changes, SOLAR opens up at 12am on August 11, right ? Also, how exactly do i chose different cores and tutorials then what I have ? Do I have to delete those courses on my timetable and then go repick timings somewhere else ? Or just reselect a different time on like a drop down menu similar to when we picked out courses ? I'm a little confused and new at this :S

Opens @ 8.30AM, but by the time you get on SOLAR it will be 8:30PM.
You just pick your core/lab/tutorial from a dropdown menu in SOLAR.

The girl in my program called the registrar, got transferred a bajillion times and it took her a long time, and then she was finally told to wait til tomorrow. I don't know if that means it will get fixed by tomorrow, or if she should call back tomorrow though :S

MUGSI is full right now. My guess is that it's just students who THINK they can access SOLAR now. It'll be worse on Wednesday.
