Toaster oven
Just wondering if we are allowed to bring a toaster oven to our room?

You aren't allowed to bring anything to your room that is used for cooking. So no kettles, no hot plates, no ovens or microwaves, no toasters...

Everything you need to cook is located either in the common room or restaurants like Commons. The toaster oven is the only one that I'm not sure is located in the common room. You can definetly use the one in Commons and the student center though. Don't go overboard with bringing cooking utilities. You only need plates, cups, and utensils, if that.

I believe there is a toaster (not toaster oven) in the common room kitchen.
Although you may not use any cooking appliances in your room, I don't think there's anything wrong with bringing something like a kettle, but using it only in the common room. However, you would have to deal with remembering to bring it back every time, so it's not very practical, but still possible.

In previous years I know of students bringing things like George Forman grills to use in the common kitchen; however, I'm not sure if that is still the rule today.
