Is there a store that takes in used TVs and gives you cash/credit towards a purchase of a new TV?

I have a relatively new LCD TV that I'm trying to get rid of, so I can buy a larger one.

You're better off throwing it up on Craigslist/Kijiji and seeing how much you can get for it. When you deal with a store, you have to realize that they're going to be giving you significantly less than the price that they'll resell it for (profit.. duh). Many smart shoppers look online for deals on TVs, to cut out the retail middleman.

Look up the price of the TV brand new, then price somewhere under that price. Decrease the asking price every week as it doesn't sell.

Yeah what are the specs and model number of that TV, maybe someone on here would want to buy it.
