travelling from mac to london and back

I am just wondering if anyone knows what's the cheapest way to use public transportation between McMaster/Hamilton and London (even better..Western). I searched Greyhound and they seemed to offer good fees but only if I buy my roundtrip ticket almost 3 weeks in advance.

Is Greyhound by far the cheapest? Or is there anything else I should consider looking into?

Thanks in advance!

Greyhound is the primary means, yes.

I assume you mean the $1-$10 rates they sometimes offer? A two-ride student ticket using Greyhound is around $31...which really isn't that expensive either.

I dislike Greyhound sooooooooooo much!

if you don't mind spending a couple of extra dollars, I HIGHLY recommend taking the VIA train from Aldershot (you can either get there by HSR/Burlington Transit for FREE or pay the $4 GO ticket).

You'll get there a million times faster. and more comfortable.

The Greyhound is notorious for being late (I waited in -25 or colder for over an hour to have to stand almost all the way to Woodstock. NOT PLEASED.) and over booked all the time, especially with people going to London (I've also been on the bus where they had to turn a dozen or so people away and call another bus to take them to directly to London)
