Trouble with second year program
So I'm going into honours math for second year, but I started in life science. To get the requirements for honours math, I took the appropriate courses that matched up with first year math, but this caused me to not get all of the prereqs for first year life sci. So technically I didn't get the courses I needed for first year life sci, but got them for first year math, even though I was never in first year math. The guidance councellor I spoke to instructed me to do all of this, and that they would recognize that I have switched over.
Now here's my concern. It says on the degree audit that I'm not eligible to continue in life sciences (which I know), but says nothing about second year. I'm wondering if this mess will get cleaned up after I go into SOLAR on june 14th or if I need to do something else.
So will I still be able to apply to second year honours math, which I do have the requirements for, even though I technically didn't get my first year prerequisites in life sci? If not, what should I do?
