You can bring one to your own room. There is a TV in the common room. I don't think you will have cable if you keep it in your own room but you can use Netflix for sure.

If you have the space you could bring a tv in your room. Only Keyes and I believe Bates gets cable included cause they have their own common space. Any other rez, you have to go straight to a cable provider.

All common rooms should have a tv and how nice they are depends on where you are. A few rez's have lcd while others are still rocking the tubes. I know the tube tv's will have the dvd/vhs combo player. The lcd's will most likely have a dvd player, not sure about vhs.

I'm assuming you are living in Whidden next year, since this is posted under the Whidden forum.

Whidden has the boxy TV that has basic cable. It was kind of nice that the people on my floor trusted everyone and they left their TVs out in the common room - so when people wanted to game, people were still able to watch TV. It was also nice having some bigger LCD in the common room that people brought, so it was perfect to have floor movie nights.

Whidden rooms are pretty big for standard traditional dorm rooms. A lot of people kept TVs in their room and it didn't take up any room.

It may have changed, and I'm not 100% confident about my memory here, but I don't think our cable was included in Keyes.
