University
I'm a grade 12 student with a question about uni. Let's say you get accepted into Life Science, and you accept the offer, but then halfway into year or year after you decide you don't like science or are not very good at it - would it then be possible to switch into lets say business?
Oh and how does choosing courses work?
Sorry I'm just really stressed out and any help is great!

Business I Requirements
Life Science I Requirements

It's a lot easier to switch from Life Science to Business compared to the other way around. However if you're switching in the middle of the year it can be problematic as some courses are only offered in certain semesters so you may not be able to take those until the summer (if offered) or the following year.

In terms of choosing courses, you will want to take the required courses listed in the Level I program. Then browse the undergraduate calendar for any upper year programs that you will be interested in specializing in and see what requirements those programs will need in addition to what your level I program requires.

Oh ok, but if you were to switch after a year of one into the other, that would extend your time to 5 years instead of 4 right?

Yeah you'll have to spend another year taking required courses for your new program. Of course there are also summer courses, if you're lucky you might be able to finish some required courses then if they're offered during summer.

I would imagine business would be very different from life sci, so look over the courses that you take in each program and perhaps try and make your choice earlier than middle of first year if possible to make life easier and save an extra year.
