upper year biology courses
Hello,

Does anyone recommend any 3rd or 4th year biology courses that are generally not heavy on the workload and are worth taking? I am asking because I am completely lost on which courses to fulfil my biology credits on

Thank you

Thanks! I heard that course has been getting more difficult over the years. Does anyone recommend any other ones?

3ss3 is still fairly easy. first midterm was legit hard but he toned it down after that. the prof from this past term may not be teaching it anymore anyways. bio 3dd3 was easy because i skipped everything like many people and took the 100% exam option. exam wasnt easy, but you were free all term and just needed to study for the exam.

Thanks for your help! I believe Dr Dushoff is teaching 3SS3 next year, does anyone have any opinions on that?

Dushoff used to teach the course, and based on his past tests, was pretty easy.

BIO3AA3 with Grover! Quite possible to get 10+ grade with minimal effort.
And he has past midterms and exams in the courseware he provides.

BIO3UU3 was also very easy. 2 midterms. 1st midterm (Dr. O' Donnell) - very fair. 2nd midterm (Dr. Lemon) - extremely easy. Based on knowledge that you should have acquired by 2nd year. I barely studied for the material and aced it. They killed us on the exam though testing unnecessary detail because the class average prior to the exam was high (mid to high 80s). However, 10+ is still achievable.

I would recommend bio 3UU3 as well, fairly easy for an upper year bio! Although disregard the review above, O'Donnell only taught cause Rollo was on sabbatical and the course was completely different! Check out older reviews with Rollo to decide, all the info is there.
