Urgent French 1z06
Hi, was anyone here in gallier-morgan's french 1z06 this past semester? If you know which chapters are covered on the final exam please let me know, I e-mailed her but she hasn't gotten back to me yet.
Thank you in advance!

Hi,
I'd like to know as well please! About to write on the 25th...
Does anyone know if there was a written portion? (Threads about the final from previous years suggest this...)
Also, is it true that for lessons 1-11 all of the questions will ONLY be from the quizzes, tests and exam 1? (With lesson 12-14 questions coming from ALL the drills?)
Finally, what was the breakdown like? Is it pretty 50/50 - 1-7 questions and then 8-14?
Thank you in advance!!

If it's very urgent I would try to call her office; probably on a week day and both in the morning and afternoon. Hopefully she would be in at least half a day.

For test 1, lessons, quizzes, drills, for 1-11 (or somewhere around there...) practise exam 1, and practise tests 1/2
Basically, if you do all the questions on the CD and understand the concepts, you should be fine.
If I remember correctly, everything was waited quite evenly...

thanks so much for the info! I just wanted to clarify a couple of things...
If I recall correctly what she mentioned back in September, the exam only covers lessons 1-14. Is this true? (You only mentioned 1-11...is there any way I'm getting away with just knowing those?!!!)
Also, for chapters 1-11 does she ONLY take questions from quizzes 1-11, practice tests 1 and 2 and exam 1? (Excluding all drill questions and excluding any vocab, etc. not covered in those quizzes?)
Then, for lessons 12, 13 and 14 is EVERYTHING testable? (drills, ALL vocal, ALL examples, even f not in quizzes 12-14)
And finally, there was no written portion this year, right? (i.e.: describe what happens in one of the films shown)
I have emailed the prof so hopefully she'll get back to me in the next couple of days!!

For the 2011-2012 term, although she covered MORE chapters than previous years, I did not find much material on the new stuff (if any at all). For me, it was a waste of time and would be better off studying whatever was covered in the 2010-2011 year. She also skips one chapter (I think 13? I don't remember), so keep that in mind.
Study the QUIZZES from Tests 1 and 2, and study EVERYTHING from everything after Test 2.

quizes from lessons 1-16 except 15
practice test 1, 2 , 3
exam 1
(lessons 1-11 are taken from quizes only)
there was no written portion, it was all taken from the CD
