Urgent!! Pearson Online textbook closed
Ok I have to write an exam tomorrow but my class wrote it on Tuesday because I have accommodation (SAS student). I had bought the online textbook for my course through Pearson and it ended when the exam was done for the course.

It ended yesterday and I can't access the textbook because the class had finished writing the exam. I emailed my prof today to extend the date for the course until tomorrow but since its after hours I don't think the prof checks the email until tomorrow. The online textbooks has important assignments that I need to study. What should I do now, the avenue materials are just supporting files to the textbook.

Really freaking out on how to go about this!

That really sucks :(. I think your best bet is to find someone in the class who has the textbook and can maybe lend it to you. Otherwise, you may have to purchase the e-book again or try and find an online copy of the book if it's available :/. There really isn't much that can be done at this point unfortunately. If you give me the name of the textbook, I can help you find it online perhaps, but you may have to pay for it again sadly :(.

You should also report it to SAS so that they are aware of the issue and can possibly prevent it from happening again.

Ahh, that's really frustrating :(. Maybe post on the discussion board or ask friends in the class if they've perhaps saved the assignments in any shape or form?

Good luck!

Could you explain that?
I let them know but like what do they have to prevent?. I am pretty sure they send an email to my prof regarding the change like last month. Even if I let them know what are they going to do about it. The prof is actually really nice but like I don't want make her feel like shit when SAS brings it up with her.

I already send an email. Should I still send an email to SAS if my prof replies to me tomorrow?.

For other courses where students have accommodations to write after the rest of the class, the profs should be made aware to adjust the end date, or have the end date at the end of the exam period.

I could also foresee this being an issue for students who defer their exams, but I don't really know if that's SAS's problem.
