If you're looking for a spot near campus to buy Valentine's Day treats, here are a few in Westdale just a few minutes walk from campus:
http://www.thedessertroom.ca / - a really neat specialty dessert shop. You can walk in and browse their treats, maybe pick a few up for valentines
http://westdalecupcakes.com/ - located in the plaza next door to The Dessert Room is the famous cupcake shop in Westdale. They will probably have valentines cupcakes.
http://www.walkerschocolates .ca/ - located right next door to the cupcake shop. Lots of chocolates for v-day!
