Vectir Turns Your BlackBerry Into A Remote
I was looking for a way to play and control music on my computer from my phone. Currently I'm using a BlackBerry 9780 and a Sony Vaio laptop and I thought it would be a really cool way to control my laptop while watching movies on a big screen over HDMI.

I did a bit of looking around and I came across this nifty piece of software called Vectir. All you need is a bluetooth enabled phone and a pc and a bit of software and you're good to go.

Vectir lets me browse my files via WMP and actually control it in real time, including playing/pause, skip, full screen and a bunch of other features.

It also supports powerpoint and you can customize the buttons on your phone to do different things.

I just thought it was really cool and I'd share it with everyone.

You can download the software from the BlackBerry App World and the rest of the software can be downloaded from
