A site called utours.ca has some great videos with advice for prospective students. While their main set of videos is on a dvd that you have to purchase, they have some freely available videos in a series called "What You Need To Know"

Here's one... Also joing the McMaster 2013 group on facebook. The admin there said he was going to upload a few videos from the 2012 group and other sources.
