For one of my courses I need to do a volunteer placement with the elderly.I'm not from Hamilton so I don't know what type of placements are nearby.I was wondering if there was a center on campus that could help me arrange something, or a specific person that I could talk to.

I'm currently volunteering at Macassa Lodge (long term care) on the mountain, I found my placement using http://www.volunteerhamilton .on.ca/

I'm pretty sure you can use the same site to apply to Wentworth Lodge which is closer to campus.

Have you heard of CVA? They had a recent meeting where you could go sign up for diff volunteering opportunities across hamilton. You go with a grp of students once a week for abt 2-3 hrs. im pretty sure i just got an email saying theres a volunteer fair coming to mac. So you can walk around there and Im sure there are a tonne of places that fit your criteria.
