Volunteer Fair - Thursday January 7th 2010

If you're looking to get involved in the Hamilton community this term, Community Volunteer Action Group organizes volunteering groups where you volunteer weekly (or bi-weekly with some placements) with other Mac Students. Each placement has a facilitator who organizes transportation to the placement and facilitates reflections on your experiences and the broader Hamilton community.
The placements are listed here. Types of placements include:- mentoring immigrant youth
- tutoring
- assisting adults with physical disabilities
- working with at risk youth
- organizing creative activities for children
To apply for a group or to find out more information, please drop by one of our volunteer fair on
