Want To Get To Know Dr. Patrick Deane?

The Last Lecture Series Club at McMaster is hosting an informal lecture with Dr. Patrick Deane on Feb 7 to let students get to know him as an individual. This lecture will be a mentorship lecture and the content is up to students! Possible ideas are: Dr. Deane's past experiences, advice for students, future ambitions, plans for McMaster. The content is very flexible - Dr. Deane really wants to get to know the student body. What do you guys want to hear from Dr. Deane? How would you like to know the new President of McMaster better?
Please post your ideas of what you would like to know from Dr. Deane and what advice you would seek from him and we will pass on the list to him in our meeting with him next week!

Sounds neat.
I heard he's from South Africa...
I'd be interested in his plans for McMaster. He's got an English Ph.D so maybe he'd put more focus on the humanities with the new Arts Building coming and all.
Aside: wonder if white beards are a prerequisite for Mac presidents.
