Warning: Wildlife on Campus
From the Daily News
There have been sightings this spring of coyotes in the area, especially around the west side of campus. It is extremely rare for coyotes to approach humans, however please exercise caution when traveling on campus. Stay on maintained walkways and do not approach any wild animals. If you see a coyote around the University, please contact Facility Services at ext. 24740 with its location.
A wide variety of wildlife can be found on and around campus. In some cases, these animals have become very familiar with the human population.
These animals may approach and come very close to you, but it is important that you do not feed the animals, try to pet them, or have any contact whatsoever.
