Wedding photographer who did a great job sued for $300k
Thought this was ridiculous so I'm sharing it.
For anyone who doesn't feel like watching: basically this photographer did a wedding shoot for a client (who happens to be an attorney), did a good job, but the client came back claiming that the pictures were trash and threatened to sue unless the photog hands over close to 20k in cash. The letter that the client wrote to the photographer is actually the stupidest thing you will ever read. Some of it is read aloud in the vid, the whole letter is linked in the video description if you click through. It's pretty much exploitation and bullying and the whole situation is sad for anyone who works in freelance.
and here's an update.
opinions? anyone had a similar bad experience being in the position of the client/freelance employee?
I can only imagine all the crap photographers must go through.

Where can we see the pictures so we can judge for ourselves?

I don't believe he's uploaded the wedding pictures yet. if there's an update to the story I'll post it though.
Apparently the couple in question did upload 1000 of the pictures on their facebook and their friends and family commented that the pictures turned out great.

I'm actually a professional photographer and things like this are a part of why I'm heading back to school this fall. Absolutely ridiculous.
