I was wondering if we're allowed to bring our parents to Welcome Day in August, or is this event solely for the new students entering?

Yes you can, they have events for the parents as well. More information will be posted on MI once we find out what the agenda is and such. But you can also find out yourself here:

Yes, of course parents can come. There's even a few events specifically for parents to attend .
