Hey guys,

So I live in Westdale and before the break I tried doing laundry at the westdale laundromat, but the door was locked (the inner door was open a bit and I could see the lights were still on). I just assumed that they were closed due to maintenance over the break. Now since ive been back after new years, ive gone by 3 more times and the same thing happened. I tried calling the number listed for Westdale Laundromat, but it isnt connected.

Any thoughts on whats going on?? Is it closed for good???

Supposedly they are open 8am-midnight every day of the week. If you've gone 3 times at these hours and noone was there, it's probably safe to assume they are closed. Howeverif you really want verification you could call them @ 905-524-1313

I have been during these times and I have called that number numerous times.

No, you can google map it.

They just locked their doors one day and disappeared without a trace. Damn gypsy laundromat.

I use the place at King and Bay now. As far as I know it's the nearest place to do coin laundry. Langley Parisian in Westdale by CIBC has a laundry service too if you don't mind paying more and waiting longer.

There is a laundry place at 418 Whitney (at the intersection of Main and Whitney) it's called Super Wash World and its coin laundry. If you take the 5C or 51 headed west it's about 10 mins from the university.

How much do some of the still open ones cost? Residence Laundry prices just went up because they added new machines.

Not sure if this was directed at me, but I said "still open" for a reason. =P I underlined it to make it more obvious for you.

I ask because some other people mentioned a few different ones they've used and I wanted to see how the res prices are comparing these days.

I don't think they went up =/. The email just says that they're getting new machines with the card system instead of using change.

it actually did go up in price, but only by $0.25, not really a big deal i suppose considering they will probably work better.
