As far as pseudo intellectual action movies i'd say that it's quite good, the message isn't overbearing and the action is paced out perfectly.

I'd put it on the same scale as a movie like Fight Club or The Matrix.

I think V for Vendetta is a great movie. It has a uniqueness to it that other super hero movies don't possess. The hero is so unstoppable and the action scenes are all amazing. Plus he gets Natalie Portman to do his bidding which is awesome.

Agreed and disagreed. Fight Club is kinda overrated; both V and Fight Club have some flaws, particularly in their plots. The Matrix (at least the first one) is in my opinion flawless.
