What's your favourite retro/classic/old time song
k so what's your favourite class/old time/retro song. By this i mean something from that golden era of music.

none of that new stuff, no gaga or bieber, rihanna or minaj,

think back to the days of MJ, Cash, Sinatra, Animals, and the Beetles. What is you favourite classic song from the olden days.

here are a few of my more well known fav's;

House of the rising sun - ANIMAL version - 1964?


Bohemian Rhapsody - QUEEN - 1975


stairway to heaven - LED ZEPPELIN - 1971


... this one isnt all that old but its got the same feel minus the auto-tune-ness

The problem here is, generally speaking, these are all great artists. Any song by them is a classic as far as I can see.

The fact they're old goes without saying - it seems most of the musical 'soul' decided to stay back in that era.
