I don't think many people hate him as much nowadays since he doesn't sound like a 14-year old girl anymore. That, and ever since Rebecca Black, people have found someone else to hate on. I think Justin Bieber owes her for that!

But seriously, the reason people hate him so much, is because he's the only media darling who's actually doing some damage. I mean all the previous ones, like Macaulay Culkin or any of those boy bands from the 90s, they never made little girls go crazy as JB does. I think the delusion comes from the fact that JB's fans in beginning of his career actually thought he was talented or something.
