Why, Hello there!!
Hi!!!
My name is Shanice Bailey and I’m heading into my first year at Mac!! I'm staying on rez, and I’m freakkkking out!! Is it easy to avoid socializing too much when living on campus, or does it get easier over time??
Thanks!!

It depends on what type of person you are. There were some people on my floor who never left there rooms and I didn't even know who they were. Others were constantly running around knocking on others doors. When that got too much for me to handle, I peaced out to Thode (Engineering & Sciences Library). Yah it was a walk from my rez, but I could get decent work done there without distractions. It also depends on your floor, and if its a "party" floor or a quiet floor, which varies from year to year. What program are you going into in the fall?

You just have to learn to manage your time and say no. If people are asking you to go out and party but you have an assignment due or a midterm coming up and you have to study then just say no.

There are 2 clubfests where you can see most of the clubs. I wouldn't go on other people's suggestions, do something that YOU like.
