Oops, that was badly worded. I meant terrorism from the middle east, since that's the "big" thing these days. My mistake.

And yeah, the view of communism as a whole has been pretty perverted from its original meaning. IMO, true communism can never really work because humans are humans, but the ideology isn't the horrible thing people make it out to be.

No, he's saying humans naturally gravitate towards capitalism instead of communism because of our natural instinct to act in our self interest (which is what drives capitalism).
