I guess it's more "assigning responsibility in such a way that the victim isn't considered a victim", if that makes sense. Like, they're responsible for their own situation.

Depending on the person, your reaction to it will vary. I for one did not feel depressed after. Stomach just felt really sick, but I continued to study for Managerial Accounting since the midterm is this Friday.
