Anyone has any suggestions as to how I make a steampunk costume with four days left?

Metallic spray paint, and Value Village? (You can find both old clothes, and old electronics there to break apart for cool looking pieces). Also the toy sections of Walmart etc.

Man, I got my Hallowe'en costume last year at Value Village and it was sorta expensive... Moral of the story: some things at Value Village aren't cheap! D:<

The halloween costumes at value village are mainly new, unlike everything else which is donated. It is only natural it costs more.

that being said, the last 2 years for halloween I was working at the YMCA as a lifeguard. I got time and a half and all I had to do was watch the one jehovah's witness family swim for 5 hours.. So I really don't know what qualifies as expensive for a halloween costume off-hand
