1) buy books online / find pdf's
2) find 8 month rentals
3) dont spend 3000 on food..... budget yourself and buy stuff and make it yourself

if you qualify for student aid see if you can get any bursaries...these bursaries can pay for rent or tuition.

The meal plan light I believe is $2800 worth of food... Not only is food on the meal plan almost double what you will pay off campus, I couldn't even finish it. You should only spend around $1000-1200 on groceries
