Athabasca + CA
So, I'm taking a course through Athabasca this summer that is worth 6 units. I was wondering if anyone knew if it would count toward my CA. I'm really hoping it does. I'm waiting on an email from my faculty but I thought I may get a faster answer here.
Thanks everyone!

Not your McMaster CA, but if you apply to other schools (professional/graduate) then you have to provide a transcript from Athabasca and they will take that grade into account when calculating your overall average.

That's confusing. I thought the Athabasca course would count toward my degree. Am I wrong?

Any courses not taken from McMaster only show up as a COM (for completed) in your grades.. and depending on your faculty, you require a certain percentage to considered it completed.
For example, I am currently taking Math 2zz3 online. Although I only need 50% at athabasca to pass the course, McMaster requires me to get 60% to consider it a completed.. reason being you need a 4.0 to stay in engineering (which equates to 60%).

I'm pretty sure it's 60% for all faculties...
