Id hate to have the heater beside my bed, would get way to warm. You should seal up any gaps between the windows/doors/walls that may cause the draft from getting in.
With what, exactly? (that was more of the original question, haha )

I thought caulking is out of the question since it's permanent ( I don't want to seal my doors shut)

Try weather stripping foam tape. Its relatively cheap and can also be removed.

where can I buy slippers around mcmaster? they didnt carry them at fortinos, they only had ones for girls, which are way too small for me. They don't sell them at the bookstore either, I don't want to have to go to limeridge for slippers...
