100 Dollars Note
Today I got some canadian dollar exchange but when I got home I realized that there are two "100 dollars" note designs.

One of them is old, written on it "OTTAWA 1988", Is this accepted in canada ?

any bill is legal in canada (no matter what series they're from), it just depends if the store will accept it. you could either keep them or take them to the bank to exchange i believe.

***are you talking about the actual Canadian dollar or Canadian Tire money?...they don't have 100 dollar bills do they?***

Just so you know, a lot of small and medium sized stores don't accept 100 dollar bills because they are more likely to be counterfeit (and more trouble to make change for). So it might not be that useful to have a lot of them.

The bill denominations in Canada are as follows:
5, 10, 20, 50, 100.
Coin denominations:
0.01, 0.10, 0.25, 1, 2

No MSU services accept $100 bills...Compass, Union Market, Quarters etc.

I like to keep it simple, I only use bills 5-20 and carry 1-2 of $1 and/or $2.
