From 1LS3 to 1AA3
I plan to take 1LS3 during the fall/winter term and then 1AA3 in the summer if my marks are sufficient as apparently a B- in the former allows you to take the latter...
Has anyone done this before? Would this be advisable or would it be more like a death sentence?...

Is there any particular reason you're not taking 1A03 instead of 1LS3 or 1LT3 instead of 1AA3? (Considering they are essentially equivalent to each other)
I think they're meant to be coupled together but there should be enough overlap for you to be able to get through 1AA3. I've never taken 1AA3 though, so I can't speak from personal experience.
EDIT: I NINJA'D JEREMY, NEVER THOUGHT I'D SEE THE DAY.

Any reason for not taking 1A03 instead of 1LS3, or 1LT3 instead of 1AA3?

Mainly out of paranoia.
My math is sturdy, but it is not incredibly, incredibly strong; I had hoped to avoid having to couple adjusting to first-year changes with being slapped in the face with math. :I

I think you should 1LT3 instead of 1AA3. It covers the same material (mostly) and is considered equivalent to 1AA3 for other courses, second-year programs, professional schools, etc.
Unless there is a specific reason that you want to take 1AA3, in which case you should look at the course reviews for both courses and then look at course outlines to ensure they cover the same material.

This is exactly what I did...I had 1LS3 the fall term (first term it was offered, so we legit didn't even start integration til the last week and a half...it was entirely a review of gr12 math), and then took 1AA3 in the summer. I was able to get a 12 in 1AA3, it just required some work on my part--I had to do the practice problems (which were being marked for completion anyways...), and pay attention in class. Since I had only the one course, I had plenty of time to devote to it even while working. It wasn't anywhere close to a "death sentence", and I enjoyed the course. I hated the life science stream of math, this one was much better, I thought.

I did that. It's definately do-able and pull a 12 in both courses.
However you do have to give a bit more effort in 1AA3.

I think it's definitely doable, though I would suggest 1A03 over 1AA3 (mainly because I got really scared when I saw the LS3 textbook. Too much modelling!). If you do all the practice problems and stay on top of your coursework, you can easily pull off a 10+. And if you enjoy maths, the more, the better!
In my experience, the exams for both courses are pretty straightforward.

I TOOK MATH 1LS3 was very easy, continuation of the high school calculus
recommended if math is your weakness.

... I would not say weakness--I finished Calculus&Vectors with a mark of 95 and this was our school's offered 'AP course' (I took the American Calculus AP test and scored a 4).
It is just an irrational fear... of math.
Many thanks to the responses! I will look more into the differences between 1LT3 and 1AA3 and make sure which I want to take. ovo

I don't understand. If you are scared of taking Math 1A03, then instead of taking Math 1AA3 take Math 1LT3. In my opinion going from 1LS3 to 1AA3 is worse than taking 1A03 instead of 1LS3.

In my opinion you shouldn't have any problem with 1AA3.
If you plan to take (or even remotely think you might want to take) upper year math courses, then go for AA3.
