unfortunately i dont think so... unless the exams are less than one hour apart. the school is required to give you one hour in between exams i believe.

Yea, I've had two exams on the same day before. It sucks, but there's nothing you can do to change it. :(

I know, dude, and I feel your pain. I've got that this year.

Last year we had 3 exams in 28 hours. the only thing they don't allow is 3 exams in 24 hours UGH. I tried to make a petition to move one of my classes exams, but ONE guy had an exam on the time we were gonna switch it to.. so we couldnt.. ended up just being a waste of time :*(

just study really hard!!! you can do it!!

Generally the only way you can get an exam change is if you have 3 or more within 24 hours. They say "24 hours", but it actually means "midnight to midnight". For example,

If you have an exam at 7pm on Tuesday night
And an exam Wednesday morning at 9am
And another Wednesday afternoon at 12:30pm
You can't get them switched

It's only if you have them ALL on Wednesday (like 9am, 12:30pm AND 7pm)

Of course, there's also sick/doctor's note/funeral etc etc.

Yeah I have a bunch packed in close too. I don't mind, I like to get them all out of the way at once.

I don't think it matters. Just need a note from your doctor to back up your claim.

funny story:

friend woke up at 10:30 am for his 9 am exam. needless to say he was pretty screwed. went to the family doctor, complained about an "irregular bowel movement"/stomach issues, paid for a note and got the exam deferred. funny thing is, the doctor actually diagnosed him with "gastrointestinitis". needless to say, i'm setting up 3 alarms and getting all my housemates to wake me up just in case i am sleeping like crazy.

in other words, it's not TOO difficult to get your exam deferred as long as you have the proper documentation.

Ya, you can't switch them unless you have a good reason that you can't attend one or both of the exams on that date. The preliminary exam schedule already came and went, which is when students can bring up conflicts and request changes. Unfortunately there isn't a rule that you can't have two exams on the same day, so they wouldn't have changed it even if you asked - unless both exams overlapped each other in which case you obviously can't write them both at the same time

But on the bright side, exams are over in just a few weeks! yay! Holidays are coming!

This was my exam schedule 2 years ago:
Monday-Exam
Tuesday-Exam
Thursday-Exam
Friday-Exam + Exam
All in the same week!

Don't worry, you push through it and then you look back on it and laugh

I don't remember any exam period where I didn't have 2 exams on the same day.

I woke up at 9:30 for a 9am exam last year (good thing I had commandeered my parent's car and drove to campus without killing anyone)

that was no fun.
