Who has changed their opinion regarding the world's end as we near this date?

Will you celebrate as we get past the this day?

A new doomsday date will come up, once we get past this one? We, humans need something to look forward to, right? 2032?

What if in a few days NASA were to actually announce a possibility of the world ending on Dec 21st this year? What will you do?

As for myself: I was convinced the world was going to end. Call me an idiot, but I did. I'm being honest about it at least. I didn't want it to, though.

My opinion has surely changed now. I don't know what's the reason. Before I didn't want it to end, but I thought it was going to. But now I want it to, but I don't think it will.

I won't be celebrating if I get past this day. As I said, I want it to end.

I'm sure a new date will pop up. Most likely somewhere around 2032? I think I've already heard a couple things about the year. Any how, if nothing happens, this year then nothing this serious is bound to happen in my lifetime at least.

If NASA were to announce something about this, possibly warning us of the world's end this year, maaannn, I'll need to find myself some punani. And very soon!

I would like to get laid by then. Seriously.

*Oh and also take care of some people who have been annoying me for past few years.

My birthday's on the 23rd so it'd suck pretty bad if I weren't alive then.....

.. Honestly, if you're that unhappy with your life, I suggest you take a year off school & work, and just travel, spend your money, relax and just enjoy life for a while.. School can wait.. life is too short to be sad, stressed and miserable all the time..
You can die (or the world can end, according to this thread), and your whole life will have been wasted...

Hey thanks for that. Just FYI though, I am working and enjoying my life. I'm currently interning for a period of 16 months and life couldn't be better.

And I would be one of the last persons who'd wanna die now. It's the rest of the world I'm annoyed with. Wars, politics, people in general are becoming more rude by the day. We as human beings are destroying this planet with all our research and experiments. And more of reason I want the world to end is coz I don't want to die alone :p. I know that's pretty selfish, but that's how it is.

I dont even know where to begin with this one... well first, the world is a cruel place, so whining about wanting to end it all for that reason is ridiculous and not good for much of anything. Second, research and experiments are destroying the world? Do you own a smartphone? a laptop? a car? If you wanna complain about technology destroying the world, you better be a damn ommish person! And finally, im sure the strip joint down town would be more than happy to take all your singles while you bicker about how lonely and unfair this world is, as long as you pay in cash... think i got everything there

All I wished to say was that you can be an unfortunate member of a system you don't like (ie. smart phones being a mandatory part of your job, technology being a 'necessary evil' in many industries which may have environmental implications, etc), it shouldn't automatically void one's right to complain. Simply because I've been to the hospital and used it is not grounds to dismiss any complaints I may have regarding the insane wait times.

You don't want to die? Pretty sure the only reason you're alive is because of research and experiments.

You do know they are not afraid of technology, they just don't use modern technologty due to religious beliefs of old ways. If they didn't use technology they wouldn't wear any clothing and be living on trees.
