I'm looking for a one or two bedroom apartment in Westdale and there aren't too many options. I keep seeing ads for 44 and 50 Glen Rd. I know a few years ago there were major problems with bed bugs and management, but I was wondering if anyone is currently living there or has lived there recently and if these issues still exist.

I'm hesitant to live somewhere with a bad track record, but the apartments look so nice that I'm hoping to hear that things have improved since then.

My friend lives there and likes it (although they've had a few odd issues with the management and appliances breaking) . However, the reviews of the place online make me hesitant to recommend and is why I did not move in there.

Bed bugs are ridiculously difficult to get rid of unless they did the whole building with proper treatments (not just spraying). I wouldn't risk moving there - even things that look good on the surface can be really bad to move into. There is constantly furniture in the garbage area outside and from my experience that is a bad sign (if it is bugs - they then dragged this furniture throughout the entire building and risk contaminating everything). Compared to the other buildings in the area, it is better than the Camelot Towers and I'm unsure about the Beverly Hills apartments. I would recommend looking into Effort Trust buildings like the one on Longwood or house rentals.
