I am planning to go into Honours Biology or Honours Molecular Biology and Genetics next year. I am currently in first year right now. I have an average of 7.1 and I was wondering how good my chances of getting into either program are?

Depends on demand for the program and the averages of people applying.
I don't think bio is limited enrollment though, so as long as you meet the requirements, you'll get in (unless it is actually limited enrollment).

Those are admissions requirements only. The OP is asking about second year programs.

Ah yes, the requirements I posted were for first year. Second year, you're best to talk with your academic advisor.

if you do well 2nd term, yes you should be able to. bio usually has like 8-9 cutoff. mol bio is actually a low cutoff (friend got in with a 6.5 last year but that was because not enough people accepted their mol bio offers so only like 14 ppl went into it that year.
