Could someone please tell me who you contact when there has been a death in the family, causing you to miss classes, as well as unable to complete assignments. Who do I talk to about this? I am in the school of social work. I can not seem to find any information of weather there is one single person to contact or if i have to contact all of my professors individually. Does anyone know if they will give me extensions for assignments? Please someone help me?

try contacting the office of the associate dean for your faculty

I am sorry to hear about your loss. There was a death in my family last year, I just sent my soc work profs emails and they were all very understanding. Didn't have to go through the associate dean for extensions.

i think you may need to contact each prof individually for missing any tests/assignments and defer/extend them, but it shouldnt be an issue
