I'm taking Advanced Vector this term and I was wondering how others studied or did labs for this course?
I took Intro to GIS this past summer and did okay but I find myself lost in Advanced Vector.
The labs are hard as you kinda have to go "figure" out yourself and very time consuming (on average: 9-10 hours/ lab report.

I was wondering how everyone else finds this course? Should I consider dropping it as i don't want it pulling down my GPA.

oh and Dr Scott is teaching it this term.

I never took this course but I did take the other one 3GI3, Advanced Raster course. That course itself is just like the vectors one but you'll be studying Rasters. When I took it, all the lab assignments you really have to figure out how to do them so the lectures will really help on this one. Don't hesitate to get help from your peers, TA and prof on the labs as it will make it easier for you to figure things out
