Alternatives to Athabasca
hi all , As some of you know i am applying for reinstatement this year . I was going to register for some courses at Athabasca to show i'm still good for McMaster and as they dont have any test centres outside of canada , it'll be atleast 2 months before i could write an exam . Can anyone suggest any alternatives to that? can i do couple of courses at Ryerson and use them along with my reinstatement letter? any suggestions will do . Thanks.

Why can't you physically attend the school?

You said in some of your other posts that you already completed Athabasca courses and did well...why do you suddenly need these courses, and why did you leave it so late?
There are some courses that don't have exams, so test centre locations shouldn't matter. I don't know what those courses are though, you'd need to look into that.

it's because i'm presently not in canada atm and it'd be really expensive to come for just 2 courses

I did. But it was last year and i'm just so desperate about getting in that i want to do a couple more just in case. It's late cause i didnt have the money before but i got a couple thousand in tax return so i'm thinking why not . i talked to Sally about it and she advised taking math265/math266/math270. But i'll definitely look into some that dont require exams. Are those courses at Athabasca that you're talking about?

Yeah, like I said I don't know what they are, I've just heard of people taking them.
If you do take a course, make sure you can do well in it...you wouldn't have a whole lot of time.
