Amazon vs Chapters/Indigo Shipping Times?
From your experience, which site offers the faster shipping time when ordering online, Amazon.ca or Chapters.Indigo.ca?
Thanks.

If you buy from Amazon when the seller is Amazon you get the book almost in 3 days!

Last time I bought a book from Amazon, they used UPS, so I got a tracking number to track the shipment. It did arrive pretty quickly, because I think their Ontario warehouse is in mississauga. But yeah, make sure it's Amazon as the vendor, and not a third party. The shipping time varies for third parties.
I believe Chapters has the option of picking up your item in-store if that's convenient for you.

I have ordered from both. Amazon was quick and so was chapters. My chapters orders usually come in the minimum time that they list (I have ordered a bunch of stuff from Chapters, including one of my textbooks for this year).
In addition with Chapters I had a problem with one of my orders (glass shattered) and they sent me a new one free of charge and their customer service is superb.
I'm not sure about Amazon as I have bought one thing from them and didn't have a problem with it.

With Amazon, if it's Amazon as the seller, I'd say it's about equal to Chapters. If it's a third-party seller, it depends on where they are situated. I ordered a textbook from a seller in Toronto, regular shipping, and got it next day. I had an issue with an order from a third party Amazon seller (wrong book - the titles were close so it was understandable) and they sent me the correct book the same day I complained and let me keep the other book! They were extremely apologetic and helpful about the whole process.
