Pretty sure I am if my friend from Ottawa can afford to come down.

Now all I need is my Vegeta costume. Don't fret - pics will be posted.

Pretty sure I'm going. It'll be my first one, looking forward to it.

Also, anyone happen to have space for one more in their hotel? =/

I havent gone in a while, it eventually got too commercial.

it always scares me when I am the coolest person in the room, unless the room is empty

I googled it. Is this the thing in Toronto?

What do y'all do there other than walk around looking like a nerd?

Buy shit, get hammered, and hit up raves where you can see dancing pokemon and Domo Kun's next to regular people. No where else in the world do you get joy like Animu north.

If you mean *anime* north?

I went in high school, but havent been since... yeah i cosplayed and everything XD

Basically theres a HUGE amount of merch you can haggle down pretty well, a large "Artists alley" which is full of AMAZING artists selling their various forms of arts/crafts for decent amounts, theres a cosplay show, sometimes a dance i think, TCG events/battles, DDR, and copious amounts of pocky.

Also, if its at the same place, theres a harveys right there and it is packed but delicious. I think once it was free hamburger day and they were like "oh hells no"

....but yes, fun

Wasn't there a group from the Anime club Osamu heading to Anime North this year?

(Definitely going too! Have to revamp my Mikuo cosplay, but aside from that, should be quite fun! Hopefully I'm breaking my camera limit from last year of 600 photos.)
