Anyone dropping Labour Studies 1A03 in 1st term?
I am required to take this for my program and cannot get in, please do leave a message if you're planning on dropping it so I can try to scoop it up.

Yes, I went to an academic advisor and then to the Labour Studies office and there are no seats available.

Anyone? Bueller?

People should drop that class like crazy once it starts so if it comes down to it just start going to the class even if your not in it and keep trying on solar. Last year my core started with about 160 people and finished with what seemed like half that.

It's true, the study of work isn't everyone's cup of tea.

There's a space in the term 2 evening class right now.

Glad to hear that labour studies isn't popular! I'm hoping to get a spot in LABR 1C03 term 1 evening course.

I'd say same deal as 1ao3. Go anyways and people will drop it after the first class. That class was really bad last year with Mills. It's also not exactly an easy class with a lot of reading that will keep people out. People left at break during the first class and never came back.

Beth says thanks to darkstar for this post.

LOL. Well that's good news, sort of, for me! Thanks for the info.

Re: 1C03 - I didn't have Mills, but I really enjoyed that class. So much of it depends on the professor. I had Sam Ladner, she was sessional however and hasn't been back that I know of. :/

Hope you get in soon. I'll let you know if I see it open up. I got into LABR 1C03 evening. Just hoping to switch into an earlier tutorial. 9-10 p.m. and then a commute home sounds like a long day!

I just got it. Stroke of luck I think. Yay! I sort of like late tutorial because they're always small. The one I really got the most out of, I was struggling with the class and the one on one help I got in there was the difference between a D I was getting and the B I earned with help from the TA.
