What truly motivates me is the challenge itself...I want to be the very best....because, man, I KNOW I can do it. Or at least, push myself until I get damn close.

Its sad when people try too pull this type of behaviour and make it seem that English is non existent in foreign countries and its students do not know how to articulate themselves. Have fun writing the 2000 word paper. I know for a fact that Dr Bontis would not let you slide out of this one.

Check with your prof to see if there is any chance at all if you can do the quizzes now, and make sure to write that essay. It doesn't have to be in perfect english to get a decent mark if your prof understands the message you are trying to get across. At this point you need to work really hard to salvage your course. This is something you brought upon yourself and unless you are willing to work hard at this, there isn't much of a chance to salvage the course.

Also if you have a final exam you better start studying super hard, finals are worth a whole lot of your mark and often are the difference between a pass and a fail.

and thats a concern for me, i simply stated the truth. This course isn't even a course, you have to attend 8 out of 10 lectures and complete 8 out of 10 quizzes, which means you could get 1/10 on every quiz and still pass. It takes a real door knob to fail this class.

Dude, honestly I don tknow how one fails this, I went through it too sucks but the quizzes were a joke. You should have gone and talk to Dr.Bontis earlier if you couldnt register you iClicker. As for the quizzes you should have done them anyway, even if you failed them it would have helped you make a case that you at least tried. Write the essay to the best of your ability and you should be good.

This thread really isn't going anywhere. Mohsin, you've received enough helpful advice. If you continue to make this personal and fill the thread with unnecessary posts, it will be closed.
