So i was dancing at 1280 and then i noticed the entire roof was covered in fuking WATER DROPLETS. Not just a tiny but, but an entire roof. I got showered on by it, got out of the place, totally soaking wet... except not in my own sweat. Does anyone else find that part of 1280 nasty or is it just me (perhaps some of you think that's what makes dancing hot? =o)

Sounds like its just condensation. Its not like its actually sweat....its just condensed water vapour from the hot, moist air in the building. </sciencegeek>

All in all.....nothing to really worry about. They'll probably have to install dehumidifiers or something to eliminate the problem.

When I talked to a bunch of reps who were supervising that night they said that 1280 was ridiculously full. So the amount of people, and there body heat caused some condensation.

Same thing happened last frosh week... but I've never seen it on any other night. I think its because its a dry night so the average person was dancing since the other option was to stand around and drink water aha

It's definitely just condensation. I was at Motown last night and the same thing happened there.
