Honestly... I can't text anyone without it failing to send every other text. And it takes like 4 attempts to get through to someone calling...

It's the same with people texting me... but IDK if its just me or rogers in general.

i had the same problem, i would get messages hrs later.
what really helped is changing my services from the 3G network to the 2G so at the top next to the status bars it says "edge"

Contact rogers and see if they have had network issues where you are. It happened to a friend with Bell last year and he got free service for the length of time it was an issue.

If not it could be something with your phone

Probably just me, but I've always had problem with Rogers whenever I'm in Hamilton =\ It varies on campus, though...Sometimes it fast, sometimes I'm waiting 5 minutes to load my schedule, or even send a text.

For what it's worth, I changed carriers from Rogers to another and I've had 0 problems since then. But with Rogers texting was basically useless.

A friend of mine receives her texts AFTER she leaves campus some days. Its dat bad.

Same issue last year with TELUS at the beginning of the school year, its because alot of people are on the network, give it a couple weeks and you will be fine.

yea a lot of people have been having these problems and usually its mostly around the campus area. my friends texts get sent late or she gets texts out of order or way after they are sent while shes on campus, but when shes back in missauga her texts are completely fine. and the same is for me.

Also, I've noticed that if I ask a friend sitting beside me to text me, I end up getting that text immediately and all the others that were stuck in limbo for the past few hours.
Still kinda pointless since I'd be responding hours later...

I had a lot of issues too but I turned my phone off, removed the battery and put it back in. After I turned the phone on again it was fine.

Yeah doing a reset should work but people shouldn't have to do that to get their text messages and whatnot onto their phones.

yeah I have the exact same issue with them. I called them and they did a system refresh but the issue is still recurring. I have to call them again.

Same problem. Really annoying when you're meeting someone and want to know where the heck they are, and six hours later you get their text telling you they're going to be 'five minutes late'. Real helpful.
