Took me a while to get to know Google+, but I think it has more potential than Facebook as long as they don't go down the same path, like including games, plastering ads everwhere, and all the other crap on Facebook nobody needs.
It's stripped down and basic once you get used to it. Hangouts are pretty cool if you're bored by yourself, or planning to talk to a friend (forever alone?).
I like how it pretty much brings everything together. It's like Facebook in that it's targeted at individuals, even though businesses can open pages etc., it has nuances of Twitter because you can choose who to be friends with, but they don't have to "friend" you back, and it even has hints of StumbleUpon with the +1 system.
Apply some more polish, let it grow, and let people get to know it better and I think it could be great. They also should add Huddles to the online component. That would be a bonerjam.
