what was the midterm like? and how did you study for it?

(by the way... i pretty much memorized everything)

i already know most of this stuff because space is like a hobby of mine

but ... i just kinda want to get a feel of what the midterms gnna be like and how other people studied

I took the course last year. The test is basically regurgitation of the lecture notes. For example, one question last year was which has the shortest wavelength? (UV, X-ray microwave etc..) or How many light years is the closest star from us. What's the most abundant atom in the universe :Hydrogen. If you review your notes and understand everything, this could possibly be one of the least challenging tests you will write, however the material is arguably the most interesting. Goodluck.

just memorize the slides and you will be good. And the wavelenght chart, remember that

i took astro 1f03 so i found a lot of things similar.


End result? didn't study and got a good mark.
